August is a new and upcoming artist.

Over the years, he has tried to be as true to himself as he could,  sticking to his roots.

 

Born and bread in the south of London. His classic, laid back, skater boy style is a presence that everyone wants to stick around, watching him take miles end by storm.

His music career started at the young age of 5. August started out by learning to play the ukulele, that was given to him as a gift from his grandfather. Through this practice and his passion for music and self-expression, he went up and on wards onto the electric and acoustic guitar. August has been a self-taught guitarist ever since.His musical inspiration comes from artists such as Jack Johnson, Yellow days, King Krule and Jamie t. 

 

Being only 19 years of age, AUGUST'S young energetic attitude has only been attracting more and more fans over the UK and beyond, through sites such as SoundCloud. 

 

August has written many songs over the years and says he’s been wanting to make more music for his listeners that makes people feel relaxed, something they will want to listen to any time of the day.

 

In one of August’s latest interviews he said:

 

"When writing lyrics I just feel I want something that can be related to others. I mean, everyone speaks about love and heartbreak and it makes people upset listening to those songs”.

“I wanted to share my experiences of that same love and heartbreak, but try and uplift and inspire my listeners rather than them crying with a tub of ice cream on their sofa”.
